Reviews and Ratings
I found the hotel to have an excellent location, with easy access to everything I wanted to explore. The rooms were spacious but lacked a bit of cleanliness in hidden spots. The service was generally friendly, but there were some minor hiccups. The dining experience was enjoyable despite missing some expected items. Overall, a good value for money stay.
The hotel is centrally located in the main Business district of Sydney, close to where I wanted to be, with easy parking options. The staff were very helpful and obliging, but I felt like a second-class citizen with the room and restaurant service allocation. The breakfast was a bit disappointing as the food and coffee were often served half cold, but the hotel's proximity to Botanical Gardens and Circular Quay made exploring the area convenient.
The hotel offers access to a large balcony overlooking the busy Phillip St entrance, ideal for everything. However, the room decor felt outdated and lacked the luxury ambiance found in the lobby. Service was friendly, but there were some issues with availability. The location is very convenient for city amenities and a short distance from the airport. Dining options were varied, but some aspects needed improvement. Facilities were adequate.
The hotel is well-located for exploring the city but could improve room choices for better rest. The lounge access may not be worth the extra cost, especially near elevator shafts which can disrupt sleep and leave a negative impression on loyal guests.
The hotel provided us with a brilliant room setup that allowed for spreading out, including a separate bedroom and lounge room. The beautiful room came with a lovely surprise gift for Santa and his reindeers. Access to the Executive floor for meals and snacks was a great addition, and the location was perfect for all our activities.
My stay at Sofitel Wentworth Sydney was a mix of positives and negatives. The hotel's prime location near the CBD and Circular Quay was fantastic for exploring the city, but finding parking in the rain was a challenge. The room, though beautifully decorated and clean, lacked the usual Sofitel ambience I expected. The service was friendly and helpful overall, but there were some lapses in attention to detail. Dining options were varied, but some caution is needed with items exposed to the sun. Overall, a decent stay with some areas for improvement.
