7.2/10

I found the hotel to have an excellent location, with easy access to everything I wanted to explore. The rooms were spacious but lacked a bit of cleanliness in hidden spots. The service was generally friendly, but there were some minor hiccups. The dining experience was enjoyable despite missing some expected items. Overall, a good value for money stay.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms felt much larger than expected, providing great space to spread out. However, cleanliness was an issue under the furniture.
Service
6.0
The staff, especially in the executive club, were very friendly and accommodating, but there were some unexpected issues like a flat battery on my car.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location in the heart of Sydney's business district made it very convenient for both leisure and work purposes. However, it lacked some amenities expected from a top-tier hotel.
Dining
8.0
The dining experience was delightful with great service, although it missed some menu options like sautéed mushrooms.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel offered standard facilities including room service, dry cleaning, and valet parking. However, nothing outstanding compared to what one might expect.

6.2/10

The hotel is centrally located in the main Business district of Sydney, close to where I wanted to be, with easy parking options. The staff were very helpful and obliging, but I felt like a second-class citizen with the room and restaurant service allocation. The breakfast was a bit disappointing as the food and coffee were often served half cold, but the hotel's proximity to Botanical Gardens and Circular Quay made exploring the area convenient.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms had a nostalgic touch to the original decor of 1966 when the hotel first opened. However, if you prioritize peace and tranquility in your room, I would advise against booking the ones above the restaurant and breakfast area or next to the elevator shaft. The noise from outside the room can be a bit disturbing.
Service
6.0
The service at the hotel was a mix of helpfulness and self-importance. While some staff members were lost in their own time zone, there were others, like the ones at the Garden Court Restaurant, who went out of their way to accommodate requests.
Location
6.0
The hotel's location is within easy walking distance to Martin Place and close to the ferry terminal, making transportation convenient. However, the overall experience in the area felt like a total fiasco, especially in terms of room and dining service allocation.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience, especially breakfast, was somewhat disappointing with half-cold food and coffee. However, Karan's light snacks were enjoyable and offered a variety of options to choose from.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel offers standard facilities that meet basic needs. However, improvements in food temperature and service allocation are areas that could enhance the overall guest experience.

The hotel offers access to a large balcony overlooking the busy Phillip St entrance, ideal for everything. However, the room decor felt outdated and lacked the luxury ambiance found in the lobby. Service was friendly, but there were some issues with availability. The location is very convenient for city amenities and a short distance from the airport. Dining options were varied, but some aspects needed improvement. Facilities were adequate.

The hotel is well-located for exploring the city but could improve room choices for better rest. The lounge access may not be worth the extra cost, especially near elevator shafts which can disrupt sleep and leave a negative impression on loyal guests.

Rooms
6.0
Despite being tired-looking and noisy next to the lifts, the room was comfortable.
Service
7.0
The service was attentive, especially the concierge's helpful room recommendation, though a spoiled stay was only partially redeemed by a late apology.
Location
8.0
Conveniently located near key attractions and the CBD, but noise from morning activities on the sixth floor can disturb guests.
Dining

The dining experience offered amazing food choices but consider exploring other nearby options for more variety and value.

The hotel provided us with a brilliant room setup that allowed for spreading out, including a separate bedroom and lounge room. The beautiful room came with a lovely surprise gift for Santa and his reindeers. Access to the Executive floor for meals and snacks was a great addition, and the location was perfect for all our activities.

Rooms

7.6/10

My stay at Sofitel Wentworth Sydney was a mix of positives and negatives. The hotel's prime location near the CBD and Circular Quay was fantastic for exploring the city, but finding parking in the rain was a challenge. The room, though beautifully decorated and clean, lacked the usual Sofitel ambience I expected. The service was friendly and helpful overall, but there were some lapses in attention to detail. Dining options were varied, but some caution is needed with items exposed to the sun. Overall, a decent stay with some areas for improvement.

Rooms
8.0
The room on the 5th floor was well appointed with access to a large balcony overlooking the busy Phillip St entrance. The decor was beautiful and the cleanliness top-notch.
Service
7.0
The staff were knowledgeable and helpful, but there were instances of minor oversights like leaving only one towel for two occupants.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location is excellent for walking into the CBD or Circular Quay, but the challenge of finding parking during rainy rush hours was a drawback.
Dining

The dining experience offered a good range of options, but caution is advised with food items left in the sun. Breakfast was delicious overall.
Facilities

The facilities were modern and convenient, offering a pleasant stay overall.
